The following dialogue is from Plato's Republic, book 8: When this whole thing is over there are going to be a lot of them looking for day jobs after the next election. Unfortunately, many state governors have acted like third-world dictators and used "emergency" powers they don't really have to violate both the US and their own state constitutions. Essentially, all that's closed down here are bars. Most people in this state are well-aware of what the federal and state constitutions allow and disallow a state governor to do and thus won't put up with any shenanigans. My state is still under "lockdown" but it's not much of one.
